<dc:description>ENG: The student panel in this issue is centered on performance of politics and its role in various communities. Each participant worked within the parameters of their own definitions of \"community\". There is variety in the representation, with contributors from Arizona State University, New York University, University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Manitoba. The young scholars were asked to analyze the performance practices in their community and their efficacy in effecting political change. The responses to this query provide diverse insider\'s perspectives on the ways in which change is negotiated with these communities.</dc:description>
